Tree Cutting

Oh the POWER of networking.

So you think you could never do this business called "network marketing" and I gotta say, "You're wrong."

You do it everyday–you just don't realize it. Two weeks ago we had a yard sale and well like Jesse says, "I've never met a stranger." I'll talk to anyone. And it's true.

Anyway, it was nearing the end of the yard sale and a guy comes up and bought a laptop case. He had a tattoo and I asked him about it and we just started talking. He told he that he cuts trees down…funny Jesse and were just talking about cutting down two trees in our yard.

I showed the trees to Jim and he said he could do it for $200. I don't know about where you live–but around here that's a hell of a deal.

I said that I had some business expenses to pay the next week and would not have the money until Friday. Jim said no problem–I'll come by Monday and you can pay me Friday.

Does that still happen today? How cool and trusting is that!!! He got in touch with us on Monday and said something came up–and said he'd be back Wednesday.

Sure enough he showed up Wednesday to cut the trees down–and we paid him Friday as promised. Here are just a few pics of him working. We thought for sure he was going to drop that tree right on the pool. But he didn't!

Rufus was nosey while all of this was going on. I think this picture is too funny. Jim also found a bird nest in the tree. We moved it to another tree; momma bird came back later.

So the power of networking–remember that you do this everyday. Why make it so difficult when you start networking for your business.

Jim got this job because he networked with me–a conversation–not forced–he shared with me his expertise. I hired him.

    Thanks for the comment and the complement. Currently I’m not in a network marketing company. I have been in a few in the past; however, I had to focus on the services I provide to my clients and didn’t want to lose focus.

    Great story Holly….   just found your videos because Brian MacLeod uses flexability theme , and I clicked on the link at the bottom of his site, then saw your video list; thought to myself , wow, she did a bang up job, who is she?
    You came across so well, now I want to know what network marketing company you are with, because you are so credible, as you know that comes right before you get to be incredible.  ;-)
