Shutting It Down

I’ve tried to write this blog posts so many times; now today I’ve decided to finish it. This is kind of a bitter-sweet message

For those know me; you know that I was a part of the gutz marketing group and you also know that we have phased that part of our business out.

So if you’re a subscriber to GUTz Marketing Blog and want to keep up with me go ahead and subscribe to this blog. Since GUTz Marketing Blog is being shut down you won’t be receiving double emails.

I have imported a lot of the blog posts here to my new blog and it’s going to take me some time to update the posts. So if you click on a link and get an invalid url please know that I am working hard to update the posts.

I’ve got a new header; not sure if I like the tag line yet; still tweeking.

I am also updating my new website NonStopSocialMedia all the time. Soon I’ll have 50+ free video tutorials for you. It’s also an affiliate site. So if you or someone you know needs a blog, twitter back, custom addme button, aweber set up, and so much more send them to your affiliate link.

For the next 72 hours I’m going to be paying YOU 50 cents for each new affiliate who signs up under your affiliate link. If they purchase a product from my site; you’ll earn affiliate commission as well.

So if you’ve been holding off getting a blog up and running, WHY? What is stopping you? NonStopSocialMedia blog packages start at $47.

For anybody who orders a package within the next 72 hours I’ll hold a special call where you can ask me any question you want about well almost anything.

I will answer your questions about my team, the work they do for me, my favorite tools, how long I’ve been doing this, what makes me tick, why I never thought of quitting…told ya you would be able to ask me whatever you wanted…

Outsourcing Secrets Webinar

I get asked all the time. Holly how can you afford 5 employees working for you? My answer, I can’t afford NOT to. You see I choose to spend the money I make online paying for my employees/outsourcers.

I choose to give up those speciality coffees, lunches out, ebooks that collect computer dust to pay for the team I now have in place. Is it expensive? NO! A lot less than you think.

The next question I get is how do I train them? I also outsource that.

So here are the tools I use everyday with my team:

First you have to sit down and write your wish list.

Here is an example of a wish list:

I need someone to bookmark all of my sites
I need someone to post 5-10 ads a week online
I need someone to answer 5 yahoo answers a day
I need someone to add 10 youtube friends a day
I need someone to add 10 friends on my ning social sites a day
I need someone to post make 20 blog comments a day
I need someone to upload 1 video a day to traffic geyser and push that out
I need someone to setup 1 blog a month
I need someone to write 2 articles/blog posts a day

I think you get the picture. Then you need to research the best places to hire/outsource that work out. I’ve tried several. And while I was doing my due diligence one day I happened upon John Jonas site…and I now recommend the 4 hour work week to everyone!

Do You Run Out of Content?

If you’re anything like me you are being hit from all angles to join this pre-launch or that next best biggest, baddest program on
the planet–I get hit at every turn.

Some folks have asked me why do I stay on those lists. You know the guru lists? Research! That is it. If I receive an email that makes
me want to click a link or I find myself reading the whole email; I know I have a winner.

So I save the email in my swipe file and take bit and pieces from those emails that make me want to take action. I have heard some folks say I want to start a blog but I never know what to write. My first thought is—hmmm, just sit down and write.

So here are some ways to get over that.

You can write about your “crappy” day. Yes, people will read it. But try to add a lesson in your post. You can take the crappiest day and turn it into a lesson.

how_to_write_contentWrite about your dog and its shenanigans. There are dog-lovers out there who will read your posts.

Write about your family history; where you’re from, how you ended up where you live now. I always envied those folks who have lived in the same place all their life. I attended 14 different schools between Kindergarten and 10th grade.

Write about your favorite vacation.

Write about your dream vacation.

Write about life growing up.

In other words, just write. And oh yeah when you run out of stuff to write about re-visit your swipe file and choose bits, pieces, and paragraphs from your favorite or not so favorite “guru”.
