PPCWebspy is all that it promises. I can not believe I waited.
I’ve been looking at this since I received Brad’s email and have been putting it off. How stupid was that!
I can now add another level to my keyword search when I’m researching for our blog posts, articles, emails and more. Being able to spy on my competition is the coolest thing.

After I downloaded the software I entered a competitor’s keyword in the google search; my PPC Web Spy showed me the competitions keywords. Here is a print screen to show you how it works. I can even copy the keywords to my pc and add to it as I continue my research.

RSS Feeds…what are they?
You know those funny looking icons; usually orange–yeah I know mine black
–That represents a site that has a feed. Yes I use them. But what I like most about using feeds for reading other blogs is that it by-passing my email filters.
I use google feedburner for my feeds. It’s easy and you will receive some analytic tools to see where your blog readers are coming from.
Google reader is a great source for that. For example, when I subscribe to someone’s blog/website it goes to my Google reader. That way when I get time I can go and look at the topics in my read to stay updated on my favorite sites. It also keeps my email inbox a little cleaner.
But that is not what we’re talking about when with RSS Feeds submissions.
If you have several feeds oh and by the way you an even create feeds for your youtube channels you should be submitting those feeds to directories and search engines.

Affiliate marketing is strong. With the recent launch of the Arbitrage report it seems that is all the “guru” marketers are talking about.
But we’re talking about using affiliate marketing on a smaller scale. If you look closely at most folks blogs they are using affiliate links throughout. Yes including this one. And if you’re not; well, you need to be.

Forum posting is another important piece that many overlook in their marketing blueprint.
While most of you know what forums are there are some who still use forums as one big spam dump. If you’re one of those—STOP! It’s not worth it. Provide value when you’re in a forum and never use spam techniques when making your posts. Most forums allow you to have a “bio”. Make sure your bio is well-written.
Forums must be mastered if you truly want to dominate your market. A lot of people do not like to market the forums. However, if you go to a forum with the thought of ALWAYS giving value it can be an awesome resource for your online marketing campaigns.
Make sure the forum you’re using is not on any blacklist as this can be bad for your site. Only go to the more trusted forums.
Here are just a few of the more popular ones:
Mike’s Marketing Forum
The Warriors Forum
Michael Green’s How–To Forum
Work At Home Mom’s Forum

Blog comments…do you visit other blog sites and post relevant content?
Take 15 minutes a day and search for blogs that relevant topics to your website. Post valuable comments to those blog posts.
When you are posting the blog comments NEVER put your link in the comment area. You put your name, your email (not shown), and your website in the appropriate boxes.
I don’t know about you but I read the comments on our blog! What do you usually do? You visit their website right? A good goal is 20 blog comments a day. Now, if you’re real smart you’ll be outsourcing that task.
But that is a subject for another blog post.

Backlinks from other authority sites is another strategy that you should be implementing in your marketing campaign.
Google some of your keywords and build a relationship with some of the other website/blog owners who may have a product that is complementary to yours. Ask them if they would mind adding your site to theirs. Now we are NOT talking about reciprocal links.
Why would website owners want to do this? To add more value to their readers might be one reason. Either way, it’s important to build a relationship with the website owner.
